Whether times are lean, or you are trying to save some money to buy something new for the homestead, saving money on the food bill is sometimes a necessity, and sometimes just a smart way to live and can make it a bit easier to put some money back for a rainy day. Since 2008 I’ve made it a personal mission to slash my food budget right along with the rest of my budget so that I can do more for less. But, I love to cook and eat good food just as much as I love to save money, so I’ve experimented with creating some really cheap meals that we eat on a regular basis that are cheap to make, but do not skimp on the FLAVOR!
