I like to use these in lieu of a fuse from the main battery because it can also act as a battery cutoff switch at the same time.

DC Breaker/Battery Disconnect
Be sure to use the correct amp rating for your system. It’s a good idea to use a 200-250a breaker coming from the battery (which is what I do) and then add appropriate fuses or smaller amperage breakers in the appropriate spots (like a 100a breaker between the a 1000w inverter and the bus bar on the positive side)
