In my testing this inverter performed well. I ran an instant pot to cook a pot of beans. It withstood 15 minutes drawing 1040-1048 watts without any trouble. Obviously the fans were running the whole time with this much draw (over the rated capacity) but they were lower pitched than many others and was not too annoying. Note: The voltage does drop down to as low as 95v to perform this draw and sustain the excess power draw without tripping. I feel this is acceptable for an appliance like a heating element, but if you plan to use 1000w of sensitive equipment on a routine basis, you should consider a larger 2000w inverter.
